Seagate Release Ultra Slim Hard Drive

Seagate has released an ultra-slim notebook hard drive. Seagate Momentus hard drive says that Thin has a 7mm thick, a reduction of the size of the previous thick 9.5mm to 2.5 inch hard drive.
"Thin Momentus hard drive promises to help the vendor computer to appear to be different from previous forms and able to compete for market quickly thin laptop PCs and netbooks." Said Dave Mosley, Vice President Seagate.

Seagate said it will offer hard drive for super-thin notebooks. The capacity offered by the hardware for Thin Momentus 160GB or 250GB with speed 5400rpm. With a thinner disk, Seagate appears to be a solution for users who previously used more expensive SSD or 1.8 inch hard disk model.
